WE ARE A PARTNERSHIP FOR GROWTH

Accessibility policy

We aim to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology.

The site has been created using semantic XHTML and CSS. Below are some of the things we have addressed in order to make this website accessible to as many users as possible.

Browsers

This website is viewable with no noticeable degradation of experience in:

On a PC

  • Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8 or 9
  • Latest versions of Firefox and Chrome

On a Mac

  • Latest versions of Safari and Firefox

Skip

'Skip to main content' and 'Skip to accessibility policy' links are at the head of every page. They become active when using tab key or screen reader.

Access keys

Two access keys have been added for convenience:

0 – Skip to main content
1 – Skip to this accessibility policy page

Using the keyboard

We have ensured correct keyboard tabbing order of the entire navigation system, for those who prefer a keyboard to a mouse.

Text resizing

Text resizing works correctly on all pages to two increments.

PDF files

PDF files look like a printed page and are used for downloads of documents on this website. Most computers will open PDF documents automatically, but you may need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the latest version of the reader from the Adobe website for free.

When you select the link to a PDF, it will open in a new browser window.
A toolbar will appear below the browser address bar, featuring a number of tools to help you view and search the document. If you need further help visit the Adobe Acrobat Reader help and support web site.

Standards

The site complies with the WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to at least level AA.
